Automatic switching of audio modes
Make calls just the way you like them: With its integrated proximity sensor, the Gigaset ION detects which audio mode is needed. Automatically and even during an ongoing call, the device switches from handsfree to handset mode, for example, when it is removed from the charging cradle and placed against the ear. The encrypted DECT connection means there is no risk to data protection and all confidential information remains secret.

Flexibility through compatibility
Gigaset ION can be used as an audio output device for almost all softphones and UC clients on Linux, Windows and Mac OS-based devices - thanks to the USB interface used, you enjoy maximum flexibility. In addition, the Gigaset DECT STICK enables operation via any desk phone as long as it has a USB port, e.g. for headsets. With standard USB drivers, the installation is a simple plug-and-play process.

DECT: Mobile freedom
The Gigaset ION makes all the advantages of modern telephony available: its DECT interface, which connects to the Gigaset DECT STICK supplied, ensures unlimited mobility. This stick can be easily installed on the USB port of the PC or laptop, as well as in the charging cradle of the ION, and enables cordless communication with a range of up to 300 metres. Want even more mobile flexibility? You can charge the Gigaset ION either in the charging cradle or mobile via the USB-C interface.

Suitable for new hygiene concepts
In the office, where many people meet every day, the risk of infection by flu viruses or cold germs is high, especially in the winter months. Thanks to its disinfectant-resistant surface, the Gigaset ION can meet new hygiene standards: Bacteria and viruses are eliminated by quickly cleaning its surface - which additionally enables safe use by several employees.

Environmentally friendly & radiation-free thanks to ECO DECT
The Gigaset ION is equipped with environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology. This means that the device is radiation-free in standby mode. During a call, the transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base (Gigaset DECT STICK) and the handset. The smaller the distance to the base, the lower the radiation. This way you reduce power consumption and radiation exposure while maintaining consistently outstanding performance.

Long-life battery & flexible use
280 hours standby and 14 hours talk time - the Gigaset ION is reliable and enables long phone calls. An LED display provides information about the battery status at all times and warns when the remaining runtime is short. The reliable operation and easy charging via PC/laptop, charging station, main unit or with additional USB-C power adapter support flexible use. The Gigaset ION thus favours new work concepts such as desk sharing, open workplaces or switching between office and home office.
