Upgrade to Smart Intercom over Existing Wiring
E12S-2 is a single-button 2-wire SIP video door phone designed for houses, apartments, or condos. It seamlessly upgrades outdated analog systems to smart intercom technology using existing 2-wire cables, eliminating the need for expensive and time-consuming rewiring.
Note about the installation:
Akuvox E12S-2, R20A-2 (1 button), R20K-2 (keypad) or C313W-2 are 2-wire door intercoms. The C313W-2 Indoor Monitor also has a built-in Ethernet connection.
- If up to 6 additional Akuvox terminals (E12S-2, R20A-2, R20K-2 or C313W-2) are networked with the IP computer network using 2-wire technology, you also need an Akuvox NS-2 SIP control unit.
- If only the C313W-2 Indoor Monitor is connected directly via 2-wire with 1 additional E12S-2, R20A-2 or R20K-2, then the Ethernet LAN connection is made e.g. with the AVM FritzBox IP-PBX via the C313W-2 Indoor Monitor.
