CAT8 (Class I) 40GbE Ethernet cable by the metre type S/FTP 2000 MHz PIMF halogen free, 100m

Cat 8.1 (link class I) S/FTP PIMF halogen-free installation cable supports transmission speeds of up to 40 gigabits per second (Gbit/s) at a maximum cable length of 30 metres with RJ45 plug connector. Cat. 8.1 field-terminable keystone metal or metal connectors (tool-less assembly) are generally used.

Cat 8.1 Ethernet cable is mainly used for server rooms, data centres and for interconnecting switches or in the home to copy large data from A to B from the NAS to the PC e.g. for video editing in 4K quality, whereas Cat7 and Cat6a cable is designed for max. 10 Gbit/s. The difference between Cat7 and Cat6a is the frequency. The bandwidth measured in MHz indicates the value of how many bits and bytes (data) can be transmitted in one second.
