The NGN-Gateway EMG202 / Gate 300 is a next generation VoIP Gateway that provides a cost-saving solution for small business/home users. The EMG202 follows the open standard RFC-.3261 SIP protocol to make sure that user can easily install this device on most of the existing VoIP (Voice over IP) services. By using the state-of-the-art DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology, the EMG202 delivers outstanding voice quality that is comparable to PSTN voice quality. With the built-in LCD display, the user can easily configure the EMG202 for first time installation in just a few minutes. EMG202 also allows you to make PSTN or VoIP calls and lets you connect to the internet using broadband or dial-up internet.

Built-in Modem function
The built-in V.90 modem function let EMG202 dial-up to any ISP and connect to internet easily. The WAN Port can also be used to connect to the internet by using DHCP, static IP or PPPoE configuration.

Choose between PSTN and VoIP calls
You can make either PSTN call or VoIP call. When the EMG202 is powered off, the connected telephone can automatically make PSTN calls.

Silence suppression can save about half of the network bandwidth needed during normal VoIP conversation.

Ping other device in the internet from EMG202 to make sure the internet connection is ok.

System status display on the LCD panel
User can easily know if the EMG202 is working normally and monitor the system status (network status, registering status) from the LCD panel display.
A ?PKT Trace? function is supported to display the packets received on the LCD panel to let administrator find the network problem on line.

Following standard SIP protocol and is compatible with most of existing SIP Proxy server.
