Netsys NV-600L VDSL2 (CO Modem

Netsys' NV-600L is a VDSL2 Modem leverages the extraordinary bandwidth promise of VDSL2 (max. 100Mbps Symmetric) technology, the next step in the delivery of new high-speed Internet applications to end-users in their homes or offices. Quick, easy and economical to install and maintain, the NV-600L works with the NV-600R over existing copper wire infrastructure. NV-600L is a CO (Central Office) device.

VDSL2 will allow operators worldwide to compete with cable and satellite operators by offering services such as HDTV, VOD, videoconferencing, high speed Internet access and advanced voice services including VoIP, over a standard copper telephone cable.

VDSL2 is seen by many operators as an ideal accompaniment to a fiber to the premises (FTTP) rollout, where for instance fiber is supplied direct to an apartment block and from there copper cable is used to supply residents with high-speed VDSL2.

Also ideal as a "dedicated DSLAM" in the workshop for functional testing of the synchronisation of VDSL2 modems (also Fritzboxes with VDSL modem). (not suitable for modems with Broadcom chipset e.g. Fritz 7582/7581).
If a PPPoE server (e.g. of a Lancom router) is connected downstream, the dial-in can also be realised via a VDSL router. (In this case, your own in-house ISP is emulated, so to speak). However, the setup for this requires appropriate technical Knowledge.
