The modems are powered via the CL100NT remote power supply, the advantage is that no external power supply is required. The 4 built-in sockets are DC return channel capable (CoaxLAN patented).
If you need more CL502BK sockets, the system can be expanded to a maximum of 8 CL500/CL500WLAN modems. With the pluggable coax powerline HomePlug modem, the WLAN on the modem can be switched off by pressing a button).
Please take care, if you have a cable TV system in operation that also provides the Internet connection, then you have to set the frequency blocking filter behind your cable modem and first TV through socket so that in-house CoaxLAN frequencies do not interfere with those of the Intenet cable providers!
